Bangladesh
Bangladesh is a largely untapped market with a big youth population who have a desire to get a degree from a highly regarded foreign university. TNE in the market so far has been limited but there is desire among the government, HEIs and students to expand the opportunities available.

Tunisia is a small country positioned between Africa and Europe that is keen to develop its international education reputation. The government is interested in doing this through increased international collaboration, creating joint programmes and encouraging two-way student and staff mobility.

Cyprus
The Republic of Cyprus is an island country located off the coast of the Levant. The northeast portion of the island is occupied by Turkey, separated from the Republic by the United Nations Buffer Zone. Cyprus has been a member of the EU since 2004.

Sri Lanka has a large existing TNE landscape, primarily in the form of franchise and validation agreements. The current higher education system is not sufficient to support the growing student population so the government and HEIs are increasingly looking to private and TNE ventures to meet demand.
Pakistan (v2)
Pakistan is a huge country that currently does not have a major TNE market, however, the government is very keen to increase TNE opportunities within the country. They have recently introduced regulations around the establishing of joint and dual degrees and are looking to welcome international branch campuses.
Spain
Spain is becoming an increasingly popular destination for international students, with favourable visa terms, a wide variety of programmes in Spanish and English and low living costs. There are many examples of successful existing TNE ventures in the country and the government and universities are keen to continue to expand on these offerings, particularly by offering courses that are not available on the local market.
Portugal
Portugal is a small country that has a small (but growing) TNE market, mainly consisting of joint/dual degrees and collaborative programmes. The government is keen to continue developing the higher education system and attracting more international students.
