Let me congratulate you on this important initiative of twinning and thank all of you have already made efforts to help and strengthen the Ukrainian universities. We really appreciate that the guiding principles of twinning are to support Ukrainian universities and the integrity of the Ukrainian higher education system by supporting universities to continue to support their academics and teach students.  What is important for us is to minimise brain drain and we also hope the minimum five year commitments will become key to the renewal of the Ukrainian higher education system after the war.

We are very grateful that UK twins are currently supporting with immediate needs of their Ukrainian partner universities, academics and students and have already committed significant funding and efforts. But what is more important to us is to make such cooperation on a systematic basis which will help Ukrainian universities for the future – a future we are fighting for on all fronts, not just military, but education.

Thank you for the leadership CCG and Universities UK who put a lot of effort into making our cooperation fruitful and deep.  We really appreciate the support from the UK government and believe our cooperation will bring historical results.

We are highly appreciate all Universities who held out the ‘twinning hand’ to Ukrainian universities to show their support in the struggle for the values of freedom, democracy and self-determination. We strive for deeper integration into the global educational space! The Twinning Initiative is one of the best tools for realizing this aspiration!

We’ve started to work with Cormack Consultancy Group in August 2021 to develop NUWEE global profile by improving the strategy of internationalization and development of strategic international partnerships. Cooperation with CCG was one of the best decisions as with their professional assistance we have shaped new and innovative models for international activity.

Moreover, joining the “Twinning initiative” coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group with the support of the UK Universities is a really exciting experience and opportunity to establish a fruitful long-standing partnership. We also really appreciate the numerous support CCG is rendering to us promoting our applied research and education projects and contributing to the NUWEE international portfolio.

International cooperation with the University of St. Mary in the field of research is the impetus for the qualitative development of the Dnipro Humanitarian University in educational and scientific activities.

We find Charles Cormack’s "Twinning Initiative" very promising. The idea of launching a programme of support when our University is twinned with an institution of higher education of a similar profile from the UK as a reliable partner will definitely contribute to enhance the quality of higher education in both universities, exchange best practice as well as recognize opportunities for future development and creating positive space for research and new ideas. Especially for Mariupol State University that is now temporary displaced to Kyiv.

Cooperation with Charles and his association is a great opportunity and the first experience in this field for our University. It's an honor for us to have such partner.  We hope this collaboration will be very useful for both sides and due to the situation in Ukraine we believe it will let us to take a step to our win. Everyone should work in their own place and do their best. So this cooperation will let us realize plans and projects we had before war.  We really appreciate  friendship of UK and hope for further cooperation!
