Powering Ukrainian Universities: First Generators Arrive as Part of ‘Generators4Ukraine’ Campaign - November 2024
First generators have arrived at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), Zaporizhzhia National University and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University as part of the ‘Generators4Ukraine’ fundraising campaign under the Twinning initiative of Cormack Consultancy Group 🇺🇦🇬🇧
The fundraising campaign to purchase the generators was launched at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to provide Ukrainian universities with the electricity and heat needed to support the educational process and create safe and comfortable living conditions for students during emergency and planned power outages 💡👩🎓
The purchase and installation of the first three generators was made possible thanks to the support of our colleagues from Durham University, Sheffield Hallam University, and the University of Bath. We thank our partners for their support to ensure the functioning of the infrastructure of Ukrainian universities and will continue to work to cover the needs of more educational institutions in Ukraine 🤝
The project is coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group in partnership with the ‘Charitable Foundation for Restoration and Support of Mariupol State University’ and Mosaik Education charity. It is important to note that every pound contributed is doubled by the philanthropic organization, making any contribution even more significant 🕊️
